MOBILE APP PRIVACY POLICY

1.- Who are we?

With the aim of complying with current data-protection rules, BIG ANGELS srl guarantees that your personal data processing is carried out ensuring rigorous compliance with legal provisions. For this purpose, we would like to inform you about our data collection and how we use them.

The following description of our privacy policy explains what we may collect through our app, what information is processed and used and how and who you must refer to in case of doubt or request.

2.- Personal data we collect: Origin, purpose and legal basis of the processing.

Upon downloading our App and accepting this privacy policy, the personal data we collect are your e-mail address and the IP address of your mobile device. These data are collected to provide services offered by the App, to control your smart robot vacuum cleaner from your mobile device.

We also collect your robot vacuum cleaner’s serial number in order to analyze all possible technical problems and offer you a quick solution, improving the performance of your device.

Likewise, we inform you that by downloading and using our mobile App, once you connect your robot vacuum cleaner to it, Bigangels srl will have access to the mapping saved by the robot. Under no circumstances this technology will geolocate the product, but it records the map or plan of the area on which the smart robot carries out its vacuuming function, stores it in its internal memory and allows Bigangels srl to have access to it only if the product is connected via the mobile App. In order to transmit these data, it is necessary to register your product online and connect through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.  Bigangels srl will access to the aforementioned data only in case of an abnormal function, it will collect the necessary information with the sole purpose to solve the trouble.

The preprocessing basis of legitimacy is your agreement, upon acceptance of this Privacy Policy.

Your data will not be disclosed to third parties. Nevertheless, we inform that personal data can be accessed by third parties if this is necessary to provide the service, being these authorized to use it to carry out its mandated tasks.

3.- Data protection rights.

The person concerned will be able to exercise his/her rights writing to the postal address of the data protection controller or to the related e-mail.

• Right of access. You shall have the right Obtain, from the data controller, confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning yourself are being processed, and where that is the case, access to the personal data and the related information.
• Right of rectification or erasure. You shall have the right to obtain from the controller the rectification of inaccurate personal data.
• Right to restriction of processing. You shall have the right to require the restriction of processing of your data when the accuracy of the data is contested, the processing is unlawful, the controller no longer requires the data for their purpose but the data subject requires them for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claim, the data subject has objected the processing.
• Right to object. You shall have the right to object to company name XXX to continuing processing your data. The controller shall no longer process your personal data unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms  or for establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

• Right of data portability. You shall have the right to receive the personal data concerning yourself and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from the controller to which the personal data have been provided.

Also, in case you have given your consent for a specific purpose, you shall withdraw it at any moment, without affecting this to your previous preprocessing legality.

You also have the possibility of bringing a complaint before the Control Authority if you believe that Bigangels srl does not carry out a proper data processing, being able to bring a complaint before the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali)

4.- Data conservation period.

The data of users who download and register in the mobile App will be kept until the user unsubscribes.

5.- Proof of age.

You certify you are over 14 years old and, therefore, have the required legal capacity to give your consent with regard to personal data processing, all these in full conformity with this Privacy Policy.
